Drinking Habits 2 - Caught in the Act
Drinking Habits 2 – Caught in the Act
Following on from the hilarious play ‘Drinking Habits’ performed last year, this play picks up where we left of, with more twists and turns and the farcical conclusion.
Paul and Kate our intrepid reporters are not identical twins but they were placed in separate orphanages as children. Years later when Paul (still a Reporter) and Kate (Sister Mary Catherine) were at the Convent of The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing when they discovered their parents were Mother Superior and Father Chenille. At the same time finding out they were siblings.
Paul was at the Convent trying to get a story about the Nuns making wine secretly. He is now thinking of becoming a Priest having been left at the altar (twice) by Sally (a fellow reporter)!
George, the Groundsman at the Convent met with Kate when she was a Novice and still waiting to take her vows. They realised they had met previously when George was Groundsman at the orphanage where Kate was living. Realising they had feelings for each other, the outcome is Kate gave up all thoughts of becoming a Nun and they married. Kate is now pregnant with twins and many unanswered questions begin to get answers in some very funny ways. The play left audiences crying with laughter so why not join us another great night?
