Halesworth & District U3A presents: Norwich Castle Keep – A Royal Palace Reborn
Dr Tim Pestell, Senior Curator of Architecture, Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery will talk about Norwich Castle’s imposing Norman Keep, recently subject to a £27m transformation. One of the largest recent heritage projects in the UK and documented in a recent Channel 4 programme, the reborn Keep has recreated the original room spaces, fittings and furnishings, as well as a new Gallery of Medieval Life in partnership with the British Museum.
Please note U3A talks now start at 2PM and are free to members, for non-members tickets are available at £4 in advance or on the door. All welcome.
