Brewery Tours
You can explore the brewery with a tour to follow the process of your favourite beers from grain to glass with an experienced tour guide. Find out what makes the Adnams beers so special, look behind the scenes.
Its not just a tour as at the end off you brewing journey you get a tasting session that includes a selection of our best-loved brands, and any current seasonal releases or limited-edition collaboration brews available at the time of your visit. Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

The Brewery Tours depart from the Adnams Tours Centre, located in The Swan Courtyard, on Market Place, Southwold IP18 6EG – accessed through the archway adjacent to The Swan entrance. You can find out more and book here.
Distillery Tours
For those interested in the art of distillation, Adnams offers guided tours of their Copper House Distillery. Participants are taken behind the scenes to observe the production process of their acclaimed spirits, including vodka, gin, and whisky. Make Your Own Gin Experience
For a more immersive experience, Adnams provides a “Make Your Own Gin” session at their Southwold location. During this 2 to 2.5-hour workshop, participants tour the Copper House Distillery, learn about the distillation process, and craft a personalized 70cl bottle of gin using a variety of botanicals. Cocktail Discovery Masterclass
A grain-to-glass experience, discover how the Adnams award-winning spirits are made, then get to enjoy them in a selection of creative cocktails.
A fun and informative experience with a tour of Adnams Copper House Distillery, where you’ll learn all about distillation of a wide range of spirits including vodka, gin, and whisky. Then it’s over to The Swan Hotel’s Still Room for an exclusive cocktail masterclass with the in-house mixologist. You will learn how to make two exciting drinks from classics and seasonal specialities.

Southwold Lighthouse
You can enjoy tours of the lighthouse led by experience guides, look behind the scenes and then take foot and climb the 113 steps to the top for breathtaking views of the area. The Southwold Lighthouse is still as valuable as ever to vessels making their way into Southwold harbour and for passing shipping as location marker.
