Expert / Juniors & NGR Championship
Expert / Juniors & NGR Championship
Blaxhall Circuit Motocross Racing – The Woodbridge & District Motor Cycle Club (DMCC)
At the heart of the Eastern ACU Centre Championship, the Expert class brings together the fastest and most experienced riders in the region. Blaxhall’s sandy, technical circuit – a favourite among East Anglian motocross fans — often proves a decisive test of fitness, line‑choice and race craft over three hard‑fought motocross races.
For the 21st June meeting, look out for familiar names from the series who regularly mix it at the sharp end:
Some of the best riders in the Eastern Centre will be pushing to maintain or improve their championship positions, using their Blaxhall track knowledge to gain an edge over rivals.
Expect tight battles, with starts and early laps often proving influential on the final podium – especially over the undulating sandy terrain that tests both bike setup and rider stamina.
The Expert class is always one of the highlights of the day, delivering big-bike action and plenty of overtaking for spectators lining the circuit.
Juniors & NGR (New Generation Riders) Championship
Blaxhall also plays host to the Juniors and NGR classes, where some of the region’s fastest young talents and emerging riders are in serious championship contention.
These races are a showcase of rising skill levels:
Juniors — featuring riders typically progressing through youth categories — race on appropriately sized machinery and often produce some of the tightest battles of the day. These races can be as thrilling as the big‑bike action, with close finishes and plenty of passing.
NGR (New Generation Riders) — a category designed to bridge the gap between youth classes and full Adult competition, this championship nurtures up‑and‑coming talent who are starting to ride more competitively across longer moto formats.
In past Blaxhall rounds, Juniors and NGR riders have pushed hard for overall honours, showing excellent bike control and a fearless approach to Blaxhall’s demanding sandy berms and ruts.
These classes are vital for the future of motocross in the Eastern Centre, giving younger riders track time in a competitive championship environment and helping develop the next generation of champions.
