In the depths of the woods, four threadbare children happen upon a crown hanging from the highest branch. With each child desperate to claim it as their own, they begin to tell each other stories. Yet, as often happens, greed seeps through and twisted fables become far closer to home…
…All the while blissfully unaware they are being watched, by Death and a big brown bear.
Originally winning the Minotaur Theatre Creative Writing Competition in 2014, Burnt Coffee Theatre Company are excited to welcome a new reworking of this Grimm and Grizzly comedy to the stage.
Suitable for ages 10+. Featuring graphic violence against puppets.
