Enjoy an afternoon exploring the gardens followed by live music in beautiful surroundings!

Pat Reyford has been a legend of the British Rock ‘n’ Roll scene since the 1980s. From his early days with the Four Blazes, through the golden years of The Shooting Stars, Ricky Cool and the Western Swing All Stars, Killer Crew, The Big Six, and as front man Sugar Ray Ford for The Hot Shots, Pat has seen them all come and go! The Big Six, combining Pat’s guitar and vocals with vintage boogie-woogie pianist Mike Sanchez, took hot spot Ealing Town Hall by storm in 1995, cut three albums and toured the States. Pat has combined live performance with record producing ever since, and is surely the hardest working musician around. Now leading his Hot Six Piece Dance Band, The Symphony Five, featuring Saxophone, Trumpet, Piano, Double Bass and Drums, Pat is packing dance halls all over Europe.

Music in the Gardens – The Jackson Line
With two lead vocalists in the shape of Keith Porter and Jamie Cook, harmonies were always going to be front and centre in The Jackson Line, who deliver a modern take on classic Country and Americana. Storytelling, harmonies and guitars are at the heart of what they do. The band are comfortable with the tag of ‘modern country’, but with each member bringing a wide range of differing influences to the table they create songs which capture the essence of country while allowing their other influences to shine through. In the summer of 2022, the band were invited to Winnipeg, Canada to work with Juno Award-winning producer Murray Pulver on their second collection of songs.

“Our first EP was self-produced, and on reflection we focused too much on making it sound like a country record,” explains Keith. “This time around we set out to discover who we are as a band.” Shade of the Pines featured on Apple Music’s ‘Today’s Country’ editorial playlists, while follow-up singles California and Gonna Get To You both received airplay on a host of radio stations including CountryLine and Absolute Country. The band released music throughout 2023, alongside performances at the Black Deer Festival, Nashville Meets London. They began 2024 with a sold out show at The Green Note, and will be appearing at American Speedfest in June 2024.
