Since 1963, the legacy of the original members—Freddie Garrity, Derek Quinn, Roy Crewson, Bernie Dwyer, and Pete Birrel—remains unmatched and unforgettable. Formerly known as Freddie and The Dreamers, The Dreamers continue to be one of the most recognized bands on the sixties music circuit.
Over nearly six decades, personnel changes were inevitable, but one member, Alan Mosca, proudly remains with the band today. Alongside Freddie Garrity, Alan toured extensively across Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. He was also part of the British Invasion Tour of America, sharing the stage with Gerry and The Pacemakers and The Searchers at prestigious venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York.
Alan’s television appearances with Freddie include shows like Cilla Black’s Surprise Surprise, The Noel Edmunds TV Show, Australia Today, and many more.
Joining Alan are The Temple Brothers, Steve and Colin, seasoned professionals known for their extensive tours with the Everly Brothers Tribute Show and the Midnight Dynamos rock and roll band. Nicky Walker, a veteran session musician with over 40 years of experience touring the UK and abroad, also brings his unique Buddy Holly Tribute Show to the lineup.
On keyboards, Peter Gill serves as musical director for numerous stars, including Anita Harris. He is recognized as the UK’s premier Jerry Lee Lewis tribute artist and tours with his own rock and roll band, The Good Time Charlies, as well as the Peter Gill Rock and Roll Big Band.
With their distinctive harmonies and exceptional musicianship, this talented ensemble adds a fresh dimension to The Dreamers. Alongside the classic hits of Freddie and The Dreamers, they perform beloved songs from the fifties rock and roll era and the sixties.
