Join us for an inspiring and creative talk with Lois Gunn, celebrated Woodbridge potter, jewellery maker, and winner of The Great Pottery Throwdown 2023. She is known for her unique stoneware clay pieces which frequently combine thrown and sculpted forms, featuring intricate and graphic decoration with fun elements.

In conversation with curator Devi Singh, Lois will share insights into her artistic journey and also discuss the techniques, materials and inspirations that inform both her ceramics and jewellery. As well as an exciting glimpse behind the scenes of her time on the popular TV series, learning how the challenges, pressure and camaraderie shaped her work and confidence as a maker.

There will be a selection of her products on sale after the talk.
