Experience unforgettable performances inspired by your favourite films, all brought to life by our community’s rising performing arts stars and compere Steven Yallop.
The Churchside Choir is a joyful collaboration between Gooderstone Primary School and Mundford Primary School, bringing together children who share a real passion for singing and music. Throughout the year, the choir learns a wide range of songs while working towards exciting performances, including church services, local community events, and much-loved leavers’ performance at the end of the school year.
Ashley Dance Company describe them self as “one big dance family” and can’t wait to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to The Apex stage. Run by ex Pineapple Dance Studio pro Ashley Smith in her home town of Thetford for six years, the company offers ballet, tap, jazz, acro, musical theatre and contemporary to aspiring dancers, many of whom graduate to careers in the industry. This crew will take a break from their busy competition timetable to entertain us with high energy and breath taking routines.
Starz Performing Arts Academy was established in 2006 as a government funded project, allowing children to take part in free workshops and since has become a thriving academy. Their school has evolved but their ethos remains the same – “Every star deserves the chance to shine”.
Voice Junction is an award-winning vocal organisation based in Norfolk and Suffolk. Their singers build technique, confidence and performance skills in a nurturing environment. Their three groups from Rocklands, Mildenhall and Costessey will perform together under the direction of founder Jane Sayer.
