BurySOUND 2026 Grand Final
We’re very excited to announce the full line-up for the BurySOUND Music Competition 2026.
BurySOUND will take place during January and February with five heats held at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds, and a Grand Final at The Apex in March.
The Grand Final will be headlined by last year’s winners, H*LLO K*TTY FUN LAND.
BurySOUND was founded in 1998 by the council’s youth champion Jackie Smith and local promoter Paul Johnson, who wanted to provide opportunities for local artists seeking to write and perform their own material, in the hope that it would help to kickstart a scene in the West Suffolk area. 28 years on, the local music scene is still incredibly strong, vibrant and diverse.
