Aldeburgh Comedy Weekend presents A Lunchtime Achievement Award: Alison Steadman
Alison Steadman would be a comedy legend even if she’d only starred as Beverley, the unforgettably appalling hostess of Abigail’s Party. But to that we must add Candice Marie in Nuts in May, Mrs Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, and Pamela in Gavin and Stacey.
In recognition of her stellar 50-year career, TV and radio host and comedian Clive Anderson will interview Alison, show clips from her work, and present her with the first ever Lunchtime Achievement Award for Services to Comedy.
After the event, Alison will be signing copies of her memoir, Out Of Character.
Suitable for all ages.
