TRACK DOGS
TRACK DOGS
Madrid-based Track Dogs are two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, whose artistic name derives from the dark subterranean world of New York’s subway system – but there’s nothing dark about their music.
Favourites on the live music scene, with stellar performances at Costa Folk, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, New Forest Festival and Glastonbury, their distinctive style is a dramatic and joyous fusion of folk, Americana, Latino, bluegrass, blues and jazz, played on guitar, bass, trumpet, cajon, ukelele, trumpet, mandolin and banjo, overlaid with delicious four-part harmonies.
Track Dogs toured with folk-roots legends Show of Hands in 2022 and released a 23-track live album ‘The Dog Show Sessions’ culminating in a fabulous guest appearance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Their 11th album, ‘The Essential Track Dogs; Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered’ is a double CD featuring the best of their originals and covers from plus some brand new songs.
