Wheeltappers & Shunters Club

Welcome to an afternoon of pure nostalgia, with the 50 year anniversary of Granada TV’s Wheeltappers and Shunters Club, Revival Show … This 70’s iconic show returns, with a modern performance, yet maintains some good old fashioned (slightly risqué) humour. 

 

The UK’s top Ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, with Arthur Lager and friends, brings an hour of non stop laughs. After his successful appearance in the Britain’s Got Talent final, Steve is constantly performing right across the UK with his theatre show, and in between, performing on cruise ships. 

 

We also have a slight connection to the original show, with our dynamic vocalist, Victoria Cluskey. Her father, Dec, was a member of the Irish band, The Bachelors – who themselves appeared on the original show, 50 years ago. Victoria only recently had her own UK chart entry. 

 

We also have an appearance of local performer Keith James, who will be performing hits from the 60’s & 70’s. 

 

Then of course, we have Colin, (originally from Ipswich), playing the part of the iconic club chairman, with the famous Bell, with some great one liners, interrupting proceedings! 

 

This show has something for the whole family, music that covers 6 decades of hits, laughter, and nostalgia.
